BSCS Science: An Inquiry ApproachTransportation
When you arrive at the Colorado Springs Airport, please take a taxi to the hotel (remember to request a receipt). There are always plenty in front of the airport. Please try to share rides with other members of your team arriving or departing near the time of your flight.

Courtesy shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to and from BSCS Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Meals
Cooked-to-order breakfast at Embassy Suites Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Catered lunch at BSCS Thursday and Friday.
Group dinner Thursday evening at Margarita at Pine Creek.
Boxed lunch-to-go at BSCS Saturday (available in time for the 1pm flights).

Restaurants within a short walk of the hotel: Polo Club (in the hotel atrium), Outback Steakhouse, Old Chicago, and Friday’s.

To stay within our budget, we ask that the non-BSCS meals purchased be limited to $20 or less.

Dress
Dress is casual. Because the weather in Colorado varies greatly at this time of year, you may wish to dress in layers.

Altitude
Colorado Springs, along the front range of the Rocky Mountains, is approximately 6,000 ft. above sea level. Some individuals coming from lower altitudes may feel the effect of the altitude for a few days. We recommend that you drink plenty of water to minimize any effect the altitude may have on you.

Expenses
At BSCS, you will be given an expense form for recording expenses incurred during your trip to Colorado Springs. Please keep all of your receipts. BSCS will need receipts to reimburse expenses (which may include parking, taxi ride, driving mileage, meals, etc.). Contact Jennifer if you have questions on what is reimbursable.

Note: Alcoholic beverages are not eligible for reimbursement per government contract.

Things to Bring
Inquiry TE textbook, school calendar, digital camera (optional), sun screen, and a hat.
