BSCS Science & Technology More Details  BSCS Science & Technology, Third Edition, Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company/Science Kit, 2005 Correlation with National Standards The first edition of BSCS Science & Technology preceded both the National Science Education Standards and the Benchmarks for Science Literacy, but even so, it aligned very well with both. In the third edition, we've been able to strengthen some content areas so that the third edition aligns even better with both sets of recommendations. In the Teacher's Resource Book, we provide a detailed correlation with the NSES content standards for the middle years, in which we provide the names of the activities in each level that address each specific standard. Implementation Workshops Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company offers a range of implementation workshops to meet the needs of teachers and school districts that use BSCS Science & Technology. These workshops range from half-day inservice workshops to week-long summer institutes. We recommend the week-long institutes as the best way to learn about the philosophy and specifics of the program. Contact Kendall/Hunt for more information and schedules.
