{"id":363,"date":"2022-07-11T19:41:41","date_gmt":"2022-07-11T19:41:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bscs.org\/climate\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=363"},"modified":"2024-05-29T22:00:16","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T22:00:16","slug":"andy-charles-w-anderson","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/bscs.org\/climate\/profile\/andy-charles-w-anderson\/","title":{"rendered":"Andy Anderson"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Experience or expertise\/projects of note:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Long-term interest in learning progressions for environmental science literacy.&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Human Energy Systems<\/em>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<em>Carbon TIME&nbsp;<\/em>project focuses on global carbon cycling and how humans are affecting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reasons I\u2019m excited about this project:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am particularly interested in (a) assessments using learning progressions, (b) working on helping students to understand how scientists analyze, quantify, and communicate about uncertainty and risk, (c) preparation for future learning, and (d) some ideas about PD\u2013helping teachers manage school expectations around management, content, and grading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":277,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"profile_type":[6],"class_list":["post-363","profile","type-profile","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","profile_type-advisory-board"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
