{"id":367,"date":"2022-07-12T19:27:04","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T19:27:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bscs.org\/climate\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=367"},"modified":"2024-05-29T22:00:35","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T22:00:35","slug":"heidi-ballard","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/bscs.org\/climate\/profile\/heidi-ballard\/","title":{"rendered":"Heidi Ballard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Experience or expertise\/projects of note:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>lead Youth-focused Community and Citizen Science 10 cases in California, also project on youth learning through natural history museum-lead CCS (NSF AISL), PI Our Forests in school elementary forest monitoring (NSF DRK-12) \u2013 all with environmental science agency (ESA) as a frame, middle and high school science teacher for five years, train secondary science teachers, teach participatory action research methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reasons I\u2019m excited about this project:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To see how ESA is getting applied to new contexts and really operationalized and built-upon and improved as a working concept! And how to actually design for the ESA goals.
