{"id":369,"date":"2022-07-12T19:29:44","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T19:29:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bscs.org\/climate\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=369"},"modified":"2024-05-29T22:00:53","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T22:00:53","slug":"jim-pellegrino","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/bscs.org\/climate\/profile\/jim-pellegrino\/","title":{"rendered":"Jim Pellegrino"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Experience or expertise\/projects of note:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of the NRC Framework Committee, co-chaired NRC Committee on assessing the NGSS, funded by NSF and foundations to develop assessments for the NGSS for classroom formative use at MS and ES, was part of a team funded by NSF focused on climate change education with emphasis on zoos and aquariums, PI of project leading to revision of AP bio, chemistry and physics curriculum frameworks and assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reasons I\u2019m excited about this project:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s really important and needed and it poses a number of real design and implementation challenges to come up with something that can work and is transportable\/generalizable&nbsp; across schools, districts and states.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":168,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"profile_type":[6],"class_list":["post-369","profile","type-profile","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","profile_type-advisory-board"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
