Endowment Fund

BSCS’s Endowment Fund ensures we remain positioned to make a long-term impact on science education. Over the last 60 years, we have leveraged research to create practical programs–from our original three high school biology textbooks to our immersive professional learning experiences that are improving science teaching and student achievement in science today. Our predecessors anticipated that we’d need discretionary funds to expand access to BSCS programs and invest in new ideas, so they established our Endowment in 2000. This fund reached $1 million in 2018 and now pays out annually with a reliable stream of capital. Your contribution here is an investment in BSCS’s pursuit of a more-meaningful, effective, and inclusive science education that will prepare students for life in the 21st century.
