Our Partners
The Science Teachers Learning from Lesson Analysis (STeLLA®) Scale Up and Sustainability study is a partnership between BSCS Science Learning (BSCS) and Instruction Partners, Partnership Institute for Math and Science Education Reform (PIMSER), and a collaboration between the Kentucky Department of Education, the Tennessee Department of Education, and many teachers, leaders, and districts across the states of Kentucky and Tennessee. These organizations have partnered with school districts to bring the STeLLA professional learning program to teachers throughout Tennessee and Kentucky. BSCS supported professional learning leaders from ten districts and three nonprofit organizations as they learned to lead the STeLLA PL program. These local leaders continue to work with fourth and fifth grade teachers to transform science teaching and learning, bringing effective science teaching practices into classrooms across Tennessee and Kentucky.
Thanks to the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (grant #U411B190029) for supporting this program along with local partners.
