BSCS is a research and development nonprofit organization that has led national science education reform efforts for 65 years. Today, we offer a suite of proven programs and services that are changing the landscape of K-12 science education. To learn more, please visit our Programs and Services webpage.

Many of these programs and services are now available directly to all schools and districts across the country as contracted services. For an established fee, you can contract to BSCS to provide these programs or services just to your teachers and leaders at a time and location of your choice, or you can work with BSCS to co-design versions of them specifically for your context through a custom contract.

How We Can Help You: 

• Teacher Professional Learning: Our immersive professional learning experiences are shown to improve outcomes for science teachers and students. Teachers can register for upcoming opportunities, or you can hire BSCS to custom design professional learning institutes for teachers across your school or district.  

• Leadership Development: We work with leaders to create a deep and sustained impact on science education. This work includes preparing leaders to plan and manage change in teaching and learning, as well as preparing leaders to provide professional learning experiences to educators. Leaders can register for upcoming opportunities, or you can hire BSCS to custom design leadership development institutes.

• Instructional Materials Development: We have a proven track record of developing high quality, classroom-tested programs for science students and teachers. Our middle school science and high school biology programs are currently the highest rated programs available for students and teachers. We can customize these programs for your classroom contexts or collaborate with you to design a new science program from the ground up.   

• Evaluation and Consulting: Our research and evaluation staff are uniquely equipped to guide district and school leaders through periods of growth and change. We lead external evaluations and consult on the adoption and implementation of various K-12 science teaching and learning programs.
