Position Title: Project Coordinator

Reports To: Manager-level member of the team

BSCS Science Learning (BSCS) is currently seeking a full-time Project Coordinator. This position is an integral member of the team, and directly contributes to the BSCS mission through a range of administrative, logistical, and communications support. We are seeking someone to oversee inventory management and order fulfillment of educational products.

Report To: Division Director, Instructional Materials Development

FLSA Status: Exempt

BSCS Science Learning (BSCS) has immediate openings for one or more instructional materials developers with expertise in science education to work on two large-scale instructional materials development (IMD) projects we have underway. These could be filled with full-time or part-time staff.

  • The High School Biology Revision project is revising our flagship high school biology program for the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). In addition to implementing the three-dimensional approach to science learning envisioned by the NGSS, this program will focus on the development of literacy skills in the context of scientific texts and on support for emergent multilingual learners.
  • The OpenSciEd project is developing a three-year middle school science curriculum for the NGSS. Information about this project is available at https://openscied.org.
