Transforming science education through research-driven innovation

Leadership Institutes for OpenSciEd Elementary

Building K-5 classroom communities that embrace the NRC Framework is no small task. The wait is over! OpenSciEd units for Elementary are now available and ready to support next generation science in K-5 classrooms. Our Leadership Institute leverages this high-quality instructional material, designed for instructional leaders supporting K-5 teachers.

BSCS’s in-person leadership institutes are designed for instructional leaders who want to support the effective implementation of the OpenSciEd Program for Elementary Schools. We invite science consultants, coaches, administrators, teacher leaders and professional development (PD) providers from informal science education to join us.
