Each Professional Development Provider Institute (PDPI) is a four-day experience designed to support you as a PD provider by deepening your knowledge, increasing your confidence, and enhancing your abilities.

BSCS Biology professional learning helps teachers develop an understanding of the program’s goals, new Anchored Inquiry Learning instructional model, and resources.

The BSCS Storylines Writing Institute provides professional learning that equips educators with the knowledge, tools, and support to design high-quality units and lessons using the BSCS Storylines instructional approach.

In partnership with Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, BSCS will provide an institute that unlocks the power of the California Next Generation of Science Standards to support multilingual learners.

Our Leadership Institute leverages OpenSciEd instructional material, designed for instructional leaders supporting K-5 teachers.

BSCS offers instructional coaching services that can be embedded into any district’s or school’s existing professional learning system.

BSCS Science Learning provides assistance with customizing instructional materials to schools and districts as a professional service.

Our work begins and ends with research at BSCS. We have a proven track record of translating insights into powerful science education programs.

BSCS now offers in-person, online, and hybrid versions of our research-based STeLLA® professional learning program to K-12 science teachers nationwide.

We are looking for Louisiana teachers with varying experience teaching with OpenSciEd to participate in professional learning that will focus on implementing the materials so that instruction is responsive to the interests and needs of your students.
